"And He sent Peter and John, saying, 'Go and prepare the Passover for us that we may eat.' So they said to Him, 'Where do you want us to prepare?' ... So they went and found it just as He had said to them, and they prepared the Passover."
Luke 22:8, 9, 13
The instructions Jesus gave must have seemed strange to Peter and John – "Go and follow a man with a pitcher of water and tell him the Master wants a room in your house." But after following Jesus for three years, they obeyed in faith even if it didn't make rational sense. God's Word sometimes includes instructions which don't make sense. Just like my parents instructions when I was a child. I didn't always understand the "why." I just obeyed (sometimes). The longer I walk with Jesus, the easier it is to trust His word, even when I don't understand the "why."
Today's Thought: I don't always need to understand "why"; I just need to obey.
Have an obedient day. Love you.
