"And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, 'Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.' "
Luke 21:1-4
Sometimes I feel like the poor widow. Compared to other people, I don't feel I have much to give to God. I can't speak, sing, witness, or write as well as others because I don't have their giftings. Yet I know that God doesn't ask me to give the same as others. He does ask me to give my "livelihood" – my entire life and all that I am – to Him. And I gladly do it.
Today's Thought: God calls us to give all we have – not what we don't have – to Him.
Have a giving day. Love you.
