"And He said, 'Take heed that you be not deceived. For many will come in my name saying, "I am He," and, "The time has drawn near." Therefore do not go after them.' "

Throughout history, there have been teachers who have set dates for Christ's return, and have lead many people to disillusionment. Even today, there is a radio preacher, Harold Camping, who has set the date for Jesus' return (a specific date in the next couple of years). People who teach such things willfully ignore biblical teaching, and lead the gullible astray. Jesus had some strong warnings: "Beware....Do not be deceived....Do not follow them."
Today's Thought: Jesus warned against setting dates for His return, and listening to those who do.
