“WHAT DO YOU WANT?”

Matthew 20:32-34

“So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, ‘What do you want Me to do for you?’ They said, to Him, ‘Lord, that our eyes may be opened.’ So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.”

“What do you want from Me?” These men lived in darkness and wanted physical sight so they could see in order to live normal lives. Jesus touched their eyes, and they saw and followed Him. Their eyes not only saw the world around them, but they saw Jesus and believed enough to dedicate their lives to Him. “What do I want from Jesus?” I have physical sight. What I need and want most is spiritual sight. “Open my eyes, Lord, I want to see Jesus.” “Open my eyes that I may see visions of truth Thou hast for me …. Open my eyes, illumine me, Savior divine.” Touch my eyes, Lord Jesus.

TODAY’S PRINCIPLE: Spiritual sight comes from the touch of Jesus.
