NO GRUDGES
I Corinthians 15:7–8
"After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostle. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as one born out of due time."
Jesus does not hold grudges. It is an amazing thing to me that Jesus sought out His half-brothers, and especially James, the oldest of the brothers (Matthew 13:55). His brothers – who did not believe in Him (John 7:5); who were offended by Him (Matthew 13:57); who in fact thought that Jesus was crazy ("out of his mind," Mark 3:21); who did not want to be associated with Jesus so they stood "outside" while He taught (Mark 3:31-32). James, who forsook His mother in her greatest trial while her beloved Son was dying on a cross (John 19:25-27). And Paul, who persecuted Jesus' beloved church (I Corinthians 15:9). What an amazing thing that Jesus has an open heart to all – even to those who do evil against Him. What a wonderful Savior!!!!
TODAY'S THOUGHT: Jesus loves everyone, even those who do not believe.
Have an "ungrudging" day. Love you.
