EAGERLY WAITING
I Corinthians 1:6b
"...eagerly waiting for the revelation of Jesus Christ, ....."
Christians in the first century were eagerly awaiting the return of Jesus Christ. They expected Him to come back soon to set up His kingdom. We in the 21st century are more like those Peter wrote about who said, "Where is the promise of His coming?" (II Peter 3:4). Having an "eager" anticipation of His return will affect the way we live.
TODAY'S THOUGHT: Christians should be "eagerly waiting" for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
