Be Strong!
Daniel 10:18-19
" 'Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me. And he said, "O man, greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes be strong!" So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, "Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me." ' "
The visions Daniel saw sapped his strength and his "vigor was turned to frailty" (vss. 8, 16). But a messenger from God came to touch him and renew his strength. Sometimes I become weary in serving the Lord. I lose my spiritual vigor and need His touch. But then God sends a messenger who speaks into my heart and says, "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10) and "Do not grow weary in doing good" (II Thessalonians 3:13), and my spirit is touched and my strength is renewed. God is faithful.
Today's Thought: Strength to do God's work comes from God Himself, so "Be Strong!"
