GOD'S BLESSING
II Samuel 7:29
[David continued praying]: " 'Now therefore, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You, Lord GOD have spoke it, and with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed forever.' "
David's prayer is my prayer: "Lord GOD, bless my house." My great desire is that my children, my grandchildren, my great-grandchildren, and my posterity until Jesus returns, will know the blessing of serving the Lord. Not only that, but that they will in turn bless the world. Through David's lineage came the Messiah Who blessed the world with Salvation. I think it would bless my father to know that His great-grandchildren are being called as missionaries to Spain and to Muslim countries, and being raised up as preachers and worship leaders. I pray that through my "house" will come prophets, evangelists, missionaries, pastors, teachers, and godly children who will also bless the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. So be it, Lord GOD!
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: God's blessings on a "house" can last through many generations.
