DELAYED EVIDENCE
II Samuel 11:5
"And the woman conceived; so she sent and told David, and said, 'I am with child.'
It may take awhile for sin to be exposed, and the guilty person may think he has gotten away with it. But just as surely as it took three months of missed menstrual cycles for Bathsheba to know she was pregnant, and she began to have morning sickness, and her tummy began to grow, so the sinner can be sure that the sin conceived will become evident in due time. Just because there is no immediate evidence does not mean that I am guiltless. The Bible is true when it says, "Be sure your sin will find you out" (Numbers 32:23).
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: The consequence of sin may be delayed, but it will become evident in time.

Have a pure day. Love you.
