ASHAMED
II Samuel 10:4-5
"Therefore Hanun took David's servants, shaved off half of their beards, cut off their garments in the middle, at their buttocks, and sent them away. When they told David, he sent to meet them, because the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, 'Wait at Jerusalem until your beards have grown, then return.' "
One tactic the world uses to silence Christians is humiliation. They try to strip us of our dignity by exposing us to ridicule. They call us "weak," "ignorant," "old-fashioned and out of date," because of our faith. But God says, "Wait." The story is not finished yet. God will vindicate His people. We serve a great King who will triumph over all those who resist His goodness. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: Christians will be humiliated but they should not be ashamed, because they serve a Great King who will vindicate His people.

Have an "unashamed" day. Love you.
