A Double Blessing
II Corinthians 1:15-16
"And in this confidence I intended to come to you before, that you might have a second benefit – to pass by way of you to Macedonia, and be helped by you on my way to Judea."
Although it didn't happen as he planned, Paul's intention was to stop at Corinth on his way to Jerusalem to bless them spiritually. At the same time, they could help him with financial support. This is the Body of Christ at work – one part helping to supply the needs of another part. Each believer has his unique abilities to contribute, and as we meet each other's needs, the work of Christ goes forward. We are blessed when we receive, and we are blessed when we give. In fact, Jesus said it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). It is a double blessing to both the giver and the receiver – a second benefit.
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: As a believer meets the needs of another believer, both are blessed.

Have a "double blessing" day. Love you.
