PARABLES OF JESUS – Will He Find Faith?
Luke 18:8
" 'I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?' "
Where did this rhetorical question come from? It seems to come out of left field, and doesn't seem to fit the teaching of persistent prayer. Yet, I can see that it is true. In our time, just before the return of the Lord Jesus, it seems people have faith in everything but God to meet their needs – the government, Wall Street, credit cards, science and medicine, psychology/psychiatry, or their own abilities. God can use any of these things to supply my needs, but the question is, where do I really put my trust? Will He find true persistent faith on the earth when He comes again? I want to be found faithful.
TODAY'S THOUGHT: True persistent faith trusts God to meet my needs, though He may use worldly means.
Have a "true faith" day. Love you.
