DAD'S RAMBLINGS – Pay What You Owe
Romans 13:8, 10
"Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves has fulfilled the law .... Love does no harm to his neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."
The essence of the law is to love God and others. Love does nothing harmful to other people. If I love, I will not steal, lie, or covet their things (vs. 9). So if I treat other people well, I have obeyed the law of God. I really owe them only one thing – to love them.
TODAY'S THOUGHT: The only indebtedness I should have is to love.
Have a loving day. Love you.
