Dad's Ramblings -- Life's Ingredients

"Two things I request of You (deprive me not before I die):
            Remove falsehood and lies from me;
            Give me neither poverty nor riches —
                  feed me with the food allotted to me;
                             lest I be full and deny You, and say "Who is the LORD";
                             or lest I be poor and steal, and profane the name of my God."

                                             Proverbs 30:7-9

If I could ask God for just two things in life, what would they be? Agur, the son of Jakeh, had his priorities straight. He asked for truth and contentment. Truth gives a solid foundation for living, and contentment brings happiness. What more could I ask for?

Today's Thought: Truth and Contentment are the ingredients for a rich life.

Have a real and contented day. Love you.
