"He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears."
Proverbs 26:17
What?????? After cogitating on this, I think it means that a person who interferes in other peoples' wars is bound to get bit – probably by both parties. To be sure, intervention is necessary when someone is being physically hurt. But to use another metaphor, if I stick my nose where it does not belong, it is bound to get smashed. As Bill Gothard taught, it is wise not to take up another person's offense.
Today's Thought: Keep your nose out of other peoples' fights.
Have a neutral day. Love you.
