"A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished."
Proverbs 22:3
The wise man considers the future; the fool lives only for today. Whether it concerns future consequences for my actions, preparing for economic downturns, or recognizing there is judgment after I die, it pays to plan for the future instead of living like there is no tomorrow. As a Christian, I understand there is a future – both in this life and in the life to come, but I don't have to worry because my life is "hid with Christ in God" (Col. 3:3).
Today's Thought: The wise man prepares for the future.
Have a preparation day. Love you.
