DAD'S RAMBLINGS -- ONE OR THE OTHER

 ONE OR THE OTHER
Matthew 6:24

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."

It's one or the other. It cannot be both. Either I love and serve God, or I love and serve the things of this world. The King of the universe will not share His throne with anyone or anything. So I have to ask myself the question: Which is more important to me – my relationship with God, or the things of this world that satisfy the desires of my flesh? I can't have both ruling my life. Jesus said, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve" (Matthew 4:10). I choose to make Jesus Lord and Master.

TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: There can be only one King on the throne of my life.

[end]

Have a God-serving day. Love You.
