DAD'S RAMBLINGS -- HARMONIOUS LIVING

 HARMONIOUS LIVING
I Peter 3:8-9

"Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this that you may inherit a blessing.

Here are some common sense practices that promote good relationship.
1. Of the same mind – agreeing, but sometimes agreeing to disagree agreeably.
2. Compassionate – sumpathic (sympathetic) – encompassing a suffering person by wrapping your arms around them.
3. Loving – philadelphos -- living as a family, united by a mutual Father.
4. Tenderheartedness – having a tender spirit.
5. Courteous – gracious words and deeds,  the oil that reduces friction.
6. Not reviling but blessing – absorbing the blows of mistreatment with grace.
When these attitudes and actions are present, relationships runs smoother and life is better.

TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: Life is better where harmony prevails.

Have a harmonious day. Love you.
