ACCEPTABLE TO GOD
I Peter 2:4-5
"Coming to Him as a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
I need to keep this in focus: my goal is not to be accepted by people, but to be acceptable to God. Because God is building my life to be pleasing to Him, I may be rejected by society which operates by a different criteria for what is good. So why do I spend so much energy trying to be accepted by the world? Which is more important: to be accepted by God or to be accepted by this world? I need to keep Romans 12:1-2 fresh in my mindset. I am called to present myself as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God instead of being conformed to this world, that I may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Thank you Jesus for making me acceptable to the Father.
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: A life that pleases God may be rejected by the world.

Have an "accepted" day. Love you.
