DAD'S RAMBLINGS – The Fruit Of Obedience
I Kings 17:15-16
"So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the LORD which He spoke by Elijah."
Obedience to the word of the LORD is the secret of living in God's provision and blessing. If I don't live according to His word, I have no reason to believe He will meet my needs. When the flour and the oil run out, I need to take inventory of my obedience.
TODAY'S THOUGHT: The fruit of obedience is God's blessing.
