Dad's Ramblings -- In The Presence of Jesus

"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized they had been with Jesus."

                                                                            Acts 4:13

Peter and John certainly were not ignorant. Peter's sermons shows that they knew the Scriptures. They just had not attended the Pharisees' Bible school. I don't think this is an argument against education and training for ministry. Preparation is important, and they had had three years of training as they walked the dusty roads with Jesus. Education does not take the place of the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and being in Jesus' presence. Oh, that my life would demonstrate that I have "been with Jesus."

Today's Thought: Bible school and seminary does not take the place of being with Jesus.

Have a good day with Jesus. Love you.
