"A worthless person, a wicked man, walks with a perverse mouth;
he winks with his eyes,
he shuffles his feet,
he points with his fingers;
Perversity is in his heart,
he devises evil continually,
he sows discord.
Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; suddenly he shall be broken without remedy."
Proverbs 6:12-15
Non-verbal language speaks volumes. It belies the true meaning of what a person says, and can negate the verbal message. Just because a person has shifty eyes, can't stand still, or shakes his finger in your face does not mean he is lying, but these body expressions are windows to his heart. It may just be a lack of confidence. But be alert to the person who won't look you straight in the eye when he talks. He may be a worthless person with calamity waiting just around the corner.
Today's Thought: Body language either reinforces or negates what we say.
Have a "verbal" day. Love you.
