Dad's Ramblings -- Hating What God Hates

"There are six things the LORD hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him;
A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood (abortion?),
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
A false witness,
One who sows discord among the brethren."

                                       Proverbs 6:16-19
 
There are some things that the God of the Universe loathes with a passion – pride, lying (twice), murder (abortion), evil schemes and deeds, and rebellion. I imagine that Satan in his heavenly rebellion did just about all of them (except maybe murder). As a child of God, I want to know the heart of the Father (what He loves and what He hates), and then love what He loves, and hate what He hates.
 
Today's Thoughts: God's children should love what God loves and hate what He hates.
