Dad's Ramblings -- God's Brightness

"And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments."

                                         Luke 24:4-5

Imagine the glory of those angels in their shining garments. It must have been breathtaking. But it must be normal for heaven. When Jesus was transfigured, his clothes became "white as light" (Matt. 17:2). In Heaven, God will provide the light so that there is no night (Rev. 22:5). And we know that the saints are glorious – spotless – clothed with white robes (Eph. 5:27; Rev. 7:9) because we have been brought out of darkness into His marvelous light (I Peter 2:9). All of this points to the God who IS light, and in Him is no darkness (I John 2:5). No wonder I love Arizona because there is so much sunshine. I'm just getting ready for Heaven.

Today's Thought: God is light and He brings light wherever He is.

Have a shining day. Love you.
