Dad's Ramblings -- Looking At The Cross

"And the whole crowd who came together to that sight, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned. But all His acquaintances, and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things."
 
                                                 Luke 23:48-49
 
Here's the difference: Some people see the cross and, even though they might feel a tinge of sorrow, turn away to return to life as usual. Others see the cross and continue to look at it. In Wednesday night Bible study, the teacher spoke on keeping our eyes on the cross. May the cross always be the central focus of my life.
 
             Mercy there was great and grace was free;
             Pardon there was multiplied to me;
             There my burdened soul found liberty –
             At Calvary.
 
Today's Thought: The Cross is the focal point of true faith.
