"Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. But they constrained Him, saying, 'Abide with us, for it is toward evening and the day is far spent.' And He went in to stay with them."
Luke 24:28-29
Even though Jesus is Lord and King, He does not force Himself on anyone. He abides where is entreated and welcomed. Jesus wants to live in us. He said, "Abide in Me, and I in you" (John 15:4). Dear Jesus, abide with me and in me. I want your presence in my life.
Today's Thought: Jesus abides where He is wanted and welcomed.
