COOPERATIVE MINISTRY
Matthew 3:13-15
"Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, 'I need to be baptized by You, and You are coming to me?' But Jesus answered and said to him, 'Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.' Then he allowed Him."
J.B. had a rather limited view of his ministry and calling – to prepare the way for Jesus. He did not see how his ministry and Jesus' ministry fit together. When Jesus said, "It is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness," He was including John in His great plan. It was a cooperative effort. Sometimes I have thought about my ministry rather than our ministry. We are "workers together with Him" (II Corinthians 6:1). We do not do it alone.
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: Ministry for Jesus is a "me and Him" cooperative effort.

Have a joint-ministry day. Love you.
