WORDS OF HOPE
II Kings 5:4
"Then [the slave girl] said to her mistress, 'If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria. For he would heal him of his leprosy.' "
Here she is, a young slave girl in a foreign land, who knew the truth of God, and she was willing to share it. She was a candle in a dark world who spoke words of hope to a hopeless situation — "There is healing for Naaman." We are lights in a dark and hopeless world that can bring hope to a desperate people. Jesus said we are lights in the world if we do not hide the light. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:14-16).

Have a bright day. Love you.
