DAD'S RAMBLINGS -- God's Irrevocable Plan

DAD'S RAMBLINGS – God's Irrevocable Plan
Romans 11:25-26a, 29

"For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fulness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved .... For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."

God has a plan and that plan is irrevocable. God never says, "Oops, I made a mistake." "God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" (Numbers 23:19). According to God's plan, Israel rejected the Messiah so that the Gentiles could be saved. But He will again deal with the nation of Israel when the "time of the Gentiles" is completed. It will happen just as He has purposed. To think that I have a better plan is to be wise in my own estimation.

TODAY'S THOUGHT: God's plan for the future will happen exactly as He has said.

Have a trusting day. Love you.
