Dad's Ramblings -- A National Prophet

"So Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the LORD. Then the LORD appeared again in Shiloh. For the LORD revealed Himself to Samuel by the word of the LORD."

                                               I Samuel 3:19-21

In His mercy, God sent a prophet to once again speak His word to a nation that has lost its revelation of the Word of the Lord (I Sam. 3:1). America has gone through times when it drifted from God's truth, and in His mercy God has raised up and established national prophets to declare His Word – Whitfield, Edwards, Moody, Sunday, Graham. But we have no national prophet today. My heart's cry is that God would raise up and establish in our nation a prophet who would be recognized from Dan to Beersheba (New York to Los Angeles) as one who speaks God's truth – His revealed Word. We need to hear God's voice.

Today's Thought: God sends prophets to nations to declare His revealed truth.

Have a prophetic day. Love you.
