THE PRAYER OF A MOTHER
Matthew 20:20-21
“Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons [James and John (Matthew 4:21) came to Him with her sons, kneeling down and asking something of Him. And He said to her, ‘What do you wish?’ She said to Him, ‘Grant that these two sons of mine may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on the left, in Your kingdom.’ ”
Thank God for praying mothers who intercede for their children. She wanted the best for her sons. Her desire was for them to great in Christ’s kingdom. What a prayer and desire! I’m so thankful for my mother who prayed for me.
TODAY’S PRINCIPLE: Caring mothers pray for their children to be great in spiritual things.
