THE FRUITFUL LIFE
II Corinthians 4:11-12
"For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So then death is working in us, but life in you."
It is a law of nature, both in the world and in the spirit: Life come out of death. Jesus gave the illustration in referring to His own impending death: "Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces more grain" (John 12:24). And Paul uses the same picture regarding our bodily resurrection: "What you sow is not made alive unless it dies" (I Corinthians 15:36). Sowing my life into others requires death. Death is not easy, but the fruit that comes from it is worth it. If I want to produce life and fruit in others, I must die to my own selfish desires and ambitions.
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: Life comes out of death.

Have a fruitful day. Love you.
