EMPTY FEARS
II Kings 7:5b
"And when they had come to the outskirts of the Syrian camp, to their surprise no one was there."
No doubt these lepers came to the Syrian camp with fear and trembling, knowing that they would probably be captured, abused, and perhaps killed. But to their amazement, they found the camp empty; and so were their fears of the unknown. Often my fears of the unknown cause me to imagine all the worst scenarios that could happen, only to find my fears were unfounded – empty. Whether it just my imagination or whether God took care of the problem is immaterial. God says, "Be anxious for nothing" (Philippians 4:6). I can face the unknown with peace if Jesus goes with me. Everything will be okay.
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: Trusting God helps me face the unknown with confidence.

Have a confident day. Love you.
