DAD'S RAMBLINGS – Troublemakers
I Kings 18:16-17
"So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him; and Ahab went to meet Elijah. Then it happened, when Ahab saw Elijah that Ahab said to him, 'Is that you, troubler of Israel?' "
Righteous people who stand opposed to the godless agenda of the world are considered to be troublemakers. In an attempt to silence them, the ungodly resort to name-calling rather than confront the issues. The godly are called pernicious and disparaging names like bigot, homophobe, or "radical right." But the voices of the troublemakers need to be heard. Lord God, send us more Elijah's who will speak out against an evil generation.
TODAY'S THOUGHT: We need Elijah's who will boldly speak God's truth to the powers that be.
Have a "troublemaking" day. Love you.
