DAD'S RAMBLINGS -- The Power Of Hope

DAD'S RAMBLINGS – The Power Of Hope
Romans 15:13

"Now may the God of all hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

There is one thing that keeps a person pressing on: hope. I've experience the depression that comes when it seems that things will never change. It is a dark and joyless place. Hope is the light at the end of the tunnel that says that my problems will pass and I will come into sunshine. Without that light, life is a dark and depressing pit – hopeless. "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined" (Isaiah 9:2). Jesus came as that light to give hope that there will be a better day. That is the power of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus. He came into this dark world as light to give hope and peace that thing will get better. There is a better day ahead!

TODAY'S THOUGHT: Belief in Jesus brings joy and peace because of the hope that there is a better day ahead.

Have a hopeful day. Love you.
