LOST AND FOUND
Matthew 16:25-26
“ ‘For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?’ ”
It is a poor investment strategy to concentrate only on the short term goals and ignore the long term. I may have to sacrifice some of the immediate gratifications to ensure a sufficient retirement account. If I enjoy the pleasure of this life for a short season and miss the glories of heaven for eternity, I am indeed a poor man. “He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep for to gain what he cannot lose.” My soul is worth more than anything this world has to offer, and heaven will be worthy any short-term sacrifice. As the old song goes, “Let me lose myself and find it, Lord, in Thee.”
TODAY’S PRINCIPLE: I am a rich man if I lose this life and find heaven.

Have a lost and found day. Love you.
