DAD'S RAMBLINGS -- THE REUNION

 THE REUNION
Genesis 45:14-15

"Then he fell on his brother Benjamin's neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck. Moreover he kissed all his brothers and wept over them, and after that his brothers talked with him."

It is a touching scene, this reunion. I've seen it replayed in television stories when two siblings who have been separated since childhood – usually because of being adopted into different families – are finally reunited. First are tears of joy, and hugging and kissing. Then comes the talking as they tell each other about all the missing years.  There are stories about Mom and Dad and experiences they have had through the years that they have missed because of the separation. I've also seen it at the altar many times when a person who has been estranged from God comes back into relationship with Him. There is weeping tears of joy as they love on each other. Then comes the talking as God tells the person about Himself. What a joyous time! Even the angels rejoice when they see God and man reunited again (Luke 15:7, 10).

TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: Reunions are a cause of great joy as long lost relationships are restored.

Have a joyous day. Love you.
