DAD'S RAMBLINGS – The Fire!
I Kings 18:38-39
"Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. Now when the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, 'The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!' "
"Our God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:29). Oh, that I was that sacrifice, that I would be so consumed with God's presence that people would say, 'The LORD is God!" "Oh Christ, of burning cleansing flame, send the fire .... to burn up every trace of sin, to let the light of glory in, the revolution now begin. Send the fire! Send the fire! Send the fire!"
TODAY'S THOUGHT: When the fire of God comes, it consumes everything.
