ON THE MOUNTAIN TOP
Matthew 16:27-28
“Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves, and He was transformed before them. His face shown like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.”
What a tremendous experience that must have been on the mountain top. The brightness of His glory must have been indeed an awesome sight. This revelation of Jesus had a great impact on Peter, and years later he was still writing about it: “And we head this voice which came from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain” (II Peter 1:18). I am so glad for the mountain-top experiences in my own life where Jesus revealed Himself to me in His glory. I remember them and they encourage and strengthen me when I am in the valley. Jesus is the same in the valley as He is on the mountain. But there are those special visitations that I remember, and they support my faith when I am not on the mountain..
TODAY’S PRINCIPLE: Jesus reveals Himself in the moutain-top experiences so that we can remember them in the valley.

Have a remembering day. Love you.
