GOD'S WAY IS THE BEST WAY
II Samuel 6:3
"So they set the ark of God on a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart."
Mistake # 1. David's desire to bring the ark to Jerusalem was right; but how he did it was wrong. In God's original plan, the priest were to carry the ark by long poles inserted through loops on the side of the ark – kind of like a casket – so that they would not touch the ark (Exodus 25:10-15). To transport it on a cart violated God's instructions, and it ended up badly for Uzzah (see verses 6-7). No matter how good our intentions are, our plans will fail is they do not conform to God's plan. In our society, we try to solve our problems regarding education, economics, criminal justice, poverty, race, child-rearing, and a host of other issues, with human wisdom instead of following God's instructions, and the problems only get worse. When will we ever learn that God's way is the best way?
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: Doing things our way instead of God's way will end in failure.

Have a "God's Way" day. Love you.
