ARGUING WITH GOD
II Corinthians 10:5-6
"...casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled."
I am prone to argue with God. In my pride, I think I know better than He does. Adam and Eve did this. Their disobedience to what God had said was an expression of the idea that they knew a better way to live. I need to "cast down" – utterly destroy – every thought that rejects God revealed law, submit my will to Christ, and be ready to "punish" anything that violates His word when it rears its ugly head.
TODAY'S PRINCIPLE: The victorious Christian brings his thoughts into submission to Christ instead of arguing with God.

Have a captivated day. Love you.
