THE LEAP OF FAITH
Matthew 14:28-29
“And Peter answered Him and said, ‘Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.’ So He said, ‘Come.’ And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to Jesus.”
It takes a lot of faith to follow Jesus’ command. Only one out of 12 disciples – less than ten percent – had the audacity, courage, or faith to step out and follow Jesus’ command, and trust God for the impossible. I praise God for those who are willing to put their lives on the line to get out of the safety of the boat and put jump into the stormy water. But most of us are like the other disciples, afraid to get into water that is over our heads. Sadly, I am one of the eleven who are afraid to take that leap of faith. “Lord, I believe; help Thou my unbelief.”
TODAY’S PRINCIPLE: Faith that will truly trust God to do the impossible is an uncommon commodity.

Have a “leap of faith” day. Love you.
